So what exactly happened while we were on my Hen Night ......
Friday
16th May 2003 - The Anne Summers Night
This was a brilliant evening and lots of games were played. I found
out a lot about my mum which was incredibly funny and I hadn't known
before!
There were 11 of us that arrived for the evening, with wine, nibbles,
and lots of products courtesy of Anne Summers!
We were all given "pretend names" and had to stick to
these for the duration of the evening. I was - EASY LAY
LAURA.
If you were to say the name incorrectly, then we had to do a forfeit!
The underwear from the Anne summers range was gorgeous and comes
highly recommended! Helen, the Anne Summers representative
(also the same name as me) was a very good host for the evening,
and totally up for a laugh, which really help the evening go well.
Definitely worth doing the Anne Summers evening, as it totally
set the weekend up. Everyone had a good time as you can probably
tell from the pictures.
Saturday 17th May 2003 - The
Grand Hotel
The hen night was a great success and the hospitality and excellent
food at the Grand Hotel was second to none!
We arrived at the Grand Hotel just before 19:00, just to find
my mum and sister standing in the reception with a massive vail,
with everything you imagine hanging off it. Even large condoms that
stated "they have been testing by elephants!"
We were ushered through to a huge room with a massive oval table
to seat all 18 of us. This was brilliant as you could see everybody
on the table.
Charlotte had decorated the table with balloons,
bubbles and confetti, which had made it extra special.
We were served our delicious dinner at about 8pm and large amounts
of wine were drunk at the dinner table.
Once we had eaten, I was kidnapped by Emma & Fran, and made
to run around the Grand and get as many kisses as I could
(Now this wasn't difficult!!?!?!)
By 10:30 we were all quite drunk and ready to dance. Our Matre
De "James" escorted us down to midnight blues were I made
friends with all the bouncers and bar staff. It was great fun in
here and it made it even better because there was a stag doo also
present, who were also buying everyone drinks and up for a great
laugh.
The stag was wearing a kilt and had nothing on underneath!
not much to see mind you!
I would recommend this to
anyone, as it was great fun, and lovely service.
