Our Honeymoon was for 2 weeks to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Couples Ocho Rios in Jamaica for two weeks of pure bliss and relaxation.
The hotel is all inclusive with everything you can imagine, we even have our own stables so that we can go horse riding in the blue mountains. With spectacular weather in Jamaica all year long, it was the trip of a a life time.
The average daytime temperatures were about 110F, 34C, while average nighttime temperatures were80F, 25C this really was the best way to finish off a perfect wedding day.

There was so much to do, and we just didnt find the time to do everything! Even in 2 weeks we ran out of time, and just could fit in all the excursions and activities. That will just have to be our excuse for when we want to return! The Jamaican's were also very friendly and welcoming to, which made the occaison such a memorable one. Want to know what we did? Couples Ocho Rios actually owns it's own Island. This is known as Nude Island as it is as you have guessed a nudist island. We kept meaning to go over and get it all off, but we both never got round to doing it!
(We were scared but didnt admit it!)

Couples Ocho Rios is Jamaica's original, all-inclusive resort located on 19 acres of charming grounds and a breathtaking white sand beach. Couples offers a vast selection of fine cuisine from a casual beach side buffet to elegant gourmet dining. Plus a world of land & water sports to choose from including scuba diving, golf, tennis and horseback riding.

WHERE DOES THE WORD HONEY MOON COME FROM?

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer, and because their calendar was lunar based, this period (the 'honey month') was often referred to as the 'honey moon'.
